Sorry for the lack of an update lately everyone!

And sorry for my absence on all your blogs – I’m trying to catch up!

My sims game is really acting up – every time I go to edit town my game just crashes, and I have no idea how to fix it! Not all of the members of the family are under the same roof at the moment making it impossible for me to finish the chapter until I can get everyone together! If you have any tips for fixing the game they would be most appreciated. I’ve also just been having a lot of fun in my ‘real’ life lately, and haven’t had that much time for sims legacies! I’ll try and get back on track as soon as possible.

  1. Mine was doing that for a while. It’s a memory issue, I think. Can you get onto edit town as soon as you load up?? I usually had issues after I’d been playing a little bit.

  2. I’ve never had any issues, so I wouldn’t know how to help ;_;

    And it’s fine take your time!! πŸ™‚ I know what you mean by having fun ^_^ I was absent many times for that same reason. But school is starting in 7 days D: No more fun ;_;

  3. That never happened to me, so I can’t really be a help to you. As for the lack of updates, I understand! No worries, I’ll be here for your return πŸ˜‰ I hope your game gets fixed soon, Good luck!

  4. Have checked if CC is the problem? If so, it shouldn’t be too hard to fix. My game get glitches every week from bad custom content. This is what I do:

    1. Move the Mods folder to somewhere outside the Sims folder. Desktop for example.
    2. Start up your game and do the thing that usually causes the crash (in this case enter Edit town mode). If the game still crashes you know that it’s got nothing to do with CC. But if it doesn’t crash.,,
    3. Close the game, put the mods folder back in but take out half of the CC and put it in a temporary folder on your desktop.
    4. Start the game. Try Edit town. If the game crashes you know that the corrupted file is in that half that is in the mods folder. Take out half of it and try again.
    5. Do this until you’ve narrowed it down to the bad file.

    At the end, when I have 5-10 files left, I csn usually guess which one is the problem, especially if I know I downloaded it recently.

    I hope this helps and that the problem isn’t bigger or trickier than some crappy CC!
